Shayla-Marie Carson Redding is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and educator whose work bridges fashion, theater, dance, and visual storytelling.
Since a young age she’s been interested in the arts. Love of dancing and fashion ended up attending Kent state university where she received her bachelors in theater studies and dance minor.
Shayla is the founder of C.A.R.S.O.N. (Creative Art Recyclable Style One of a Kind Novelty), a brand dedicated to innovative design incorporating, sustainability, innovation, and community engagement. She believes that art serves as a powerful tool for communication, cultivating empathy,and artistic expression.
With experience in performance, choreography, costume construction, styling, and arts education, Shayla is committed to inspiring confidence, creativity, and personal growth while helping students connect, artistic concepts to real world experiences.
