During Scrap to Superhero- participants will explore the power to protect the environment with recycling resources. They will get the opportunity to create a look for their own individual character or as a group effort. They will do a show and tell at the end of their upcycle looks. This is suitable for grades 3-5th graders and participants will be able to explore problem solving, creativity, collaboration,while adapting to challenges of expressing their unique voices through design. Great way for students to think on how materials can be reused in meaningful ways and prove that the most extraordinary creations can begin with what others leave behind or outgrown.
