Word Cloud Mosaics – Using Language To Connect With Classmates And Ourselves

During a one-hour workshop, students will explore using words to describe their personal qualities and strengths and use written expressions of those ideas to craft a personal word/image mosaic. Students will engage in a writing prompt exercise to delve into their qualities, as well as words that define positive traits and qualities of their classmates. Participants will then creatively blend words into shapes that they feel represent them or the words to make their final image mosaic. Students who choose to can share how the words chosen for them made them feel and talk about why they chose the mosaic shape they did.
