Sound Stories: Nature in Words and Music

During Sound Stories: Nature in Words and Music, participants will explore narrative writing and storytelling through creating short nature-inspired poems or stories, composing original music to accompany their narratives, and collaboratively performing their finished works. Participants will also work to address the arts and social-emotional standards of composing musical ideas and connecting music with other art forms and using active listening, effective communication, and collaboration to work with others.
