Through the Hip Hop Lens

$0.00

In this program Pinque leads participants through high energy and fun hip hop movement. This program will provide dance/movement instruction and utilize elements of theater to bolster an appreciation of the art forms and its societal and historical influence. Participants will be empowered to create a judgment free zone for comfortability and safeness while sharing and exploring their own personal connection to hip hop through movement, music and storytelling.

Through dance and choreography, they will explore elements of social emotional learning through collaboration and individual achievements while enhancing a social awareness of themselves and their peers. The societal and historical connections will enhance participants' understanding of how art and emotions are interconnected to past and present event trends. All participants will leave this program with new confidence, learning how to express themselves in multiple areas in their daily lives.
