Upcycled Greeting Cards

During Upcycled Greeting Card creation, students will learn about solid waste management's recycling program to divert waste from landfills, by upcycling magazines, old greeting cards and found supplies like cereal boxes into beautiful gift cards for family and friends. This supports ther academic standards of Environmental Conservation in STEAM, and will address social emotional standards of Caring Communication with people around them in classes and at home, and fine motor skills with surface design and scissor control.
