Microscopic World Of Pond Water

Students will observe pond water organisms and study reference guides to create their own diagram and 3D rendering of a micro-organism, with special attention paid to internal organs/structures (for the diagram layers), appendages and external shape (for 3D rendering).

Students will collaborate with classmates to compile their diagrams and 3D renderings in a Pond Water Jar reference tool for use on tablet devices.

This program, as a residency, will also allow students will create clay sculpture of micro-organisms, abstracting characteristics and structure.
