Living In History: The Art Of Songwriting
Retelling historical events is important knowledge that participants can better translate through music and songwriting. In this residency, participants will create a song that demonstrates their understanding of a historical event, its figures, and vocabulary. They will learn to appreciate: the power of music, how passion can influence creativity, brainstorm possible alternatives in problem solving, and the importance of historical events.
