The first ever recording of how human history was passed down from generation to generation was from storytelling and performing. Through Acting Through History, students will use TikTok, a social media platform that has revolutionized the way stories can be retold and expressed. Students would recreate events from the American Revolution and Ohio’s history and put them into a modern lens while also emphasizing and discussing emotions the individuals experienced during the chosen events. The students will then upload their finished stories and videos to TikTok to share with their friends, guardians and community.
