Benjamin "Benny” Holbert IV
Benjamin "Benny” Holbert IV, co-founder of the clothing brand Midwest Kids, is a screenprint artist and entrepreneur committed to celebrating the Midwest and empowering his community. A former student of Bowling Green State University’s Fashion Merchandising and Product Development program, Benny blends creativity with business insight, using his self-taught screen printing skills to produce garments for his brand and the community.
In 2023, he founded ColorBlind Studio, a space dedicated to teaching youth the art of screen printing.
Inspired by his own colorblindness, Benny embraces his condition as a tool for creative innovation, drawing parallels to other trailblazers. With a vision to make Cleveland a thriving fashion hub. Benny is fostering a collaborative creative ecosystem through Midwest Kids and ColorBlind Studio, empowering emerging artists and positioning the city as a center for fashion and artistic opportunity in the Midwest.
