Our assemblies bring high energy, a one-hour assembly led by professional teaching artists from 10K Movement. Through live performance, interactive demos, and call and response moments, we highlight the foundations of Hip Hop and Street Dance like grooving, breaking, popping, house, krump, and party dances, and how they connect to music, history, and community. Assemblies are tailored for K through 12 audiences, adjusting vocabulary, pacing, and participation so every student can be present and engaged from start to finish.
Beyond the show, we center social and emotional learning like confidence, collaboration, empathy, and positive risk-taking. We model respectful cypher etiquette, celebrate student voice, and connect big ideas like identity and creative problem solving to school culture goals.
[This experience fits the school day or OST time and only needs a sound system and open space. Each engagement can include a short reflection or share out, and schools can opt to build toward a culminating performance.]
