empowering youth through the arts & workforce development

ArtWorks is an arts education and workforce development program for high school students in 10th, 11th, & 12th grade. 40 students are enrolled as paid apprentices and are mentored by a Master Teaching Artist in an art form while going through workforce development and 21st-century skills workshops.

ARTWORKS LIVE!

At the end of the program session, the apprentices show off their work at our culminating event, ArtWorks Live! The event is an engaging opportunity for families, friends, and community members to immerse themselves in an interactive experience. This event encourages an entrepreneurial mindset featuring a student market, offering a diverse range of student creations and artwork. Also included are engaging presentations and gallery.

NEW! ARTWORKS YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

We are proud to announce the launch of our Youth Leadership Council, where the direction and production of ArtWorks Live! will be led by the youth themselves. This exciting initiative ensures a student-centered approach, making this event a fun and vibrant occasion that allows us to witness the incredible talents and creativity of our youth.

Your sponsorship will play a key role in supporting the event by:

Providing stipends for apprentices

Covering mentorship costs

Facilitating transportation

(to & from the event space)

Arranging catering

Supplying art materials

5:00 PM - 6:15 PM: Engage with our Youth Leadership Council members and discover more about the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (CAL) and the ArtWorks program. Delight in light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Immerse yourself in ArtWorks Live! as 40 apprentices showcase their talents through captivating performances. Explore and purchase unique artwork at the ArtWorks market.
